Who Are We
Cider is our passion. We have been making traditional cider and perry in Rous Lench for over 35 years ...
About Us
Lenchescider is a small and local enterprise that built upon earlier cider making tradition within the Lenches area – having served an apprenticeship working for the late and locally renowned Frank Harris of Church Lench.

Apples and pears are the core of traditional cider making. All our cider fruit is sourced from the many small local orchards that lie within and surround the Lenches area of Worcestershire. We use old and traditional fruit varieties in our ciders. However, we have also embraced the best of the newer varieties and techniques, continually learning our craft to the best of current scientific knowledge.

We are committed to making cider that retains the taste that earlier generations would have experienced. Committed to using 100% locally sourced fruit, committed to wild yeast fermentation and committed to avoiding the industrial practice of dilution and addition of other flavours. At the same time we have learnt from the scientific principles of cider making established through the work of the Long Ashton Research Station. These principles ensure that it is possible to make a consistently flavoured and fault-free cider year after year.

Why not try our ciders and perhaps we can help you to start your own cider making. In addition to our cider and perry, we sell bourbon barrels and tubs, we will press your fruit or can provide you with juice to make your own cider.
